Even Democrats shared on their X accounts how grateful they were to witness a true comedic genius like Colbert flexing his chops on national television.

It’s odd that such a seemingly popular show would end so abruptly, but if you really want a look at one of the reasons why “The Late Show” didn’t work for CBS (other than the fact that most of the country didn’t want to watch a DNC mouthpiece posing as a comedian), you’ll find it in a staff photo that’s now going viral on social media.

Longtime CNN correspondent (hey, look, another Democrat) Brian Stelter is going through his own bitter phases over the loss of “The Late Show” and has been posting everything from heartfelt thanks to Colbert and friends. shaking his fist at that evil orange man, Donald Trump.
And in one of these tribute photos, we see just how bloated the cast of “The Late Show” really is.
You’re telling me this fat crew loses $40 million a year to CBS? Yes, I can really believe that.
Seriously, “Skibidi Biden?” Is this the team it took to write masterful comedic salvos like?
It takes fewer people to launch a rocket into space than it does for Colbert and his crew to make a few bad jokes about Trump being Putin nonsense.
This should really highlight how this entire operation was doomed to fail.

If shows with a quarter of the budget can get better ratings, then it doesn’t matter how many DNC figures come to Colbert’s defense.
