Shocking CCTV footage shows woman dump bloodied dog at kennels | UK | News

Shocking CCTV footage captured a woman leaving a dying puppy outside her doghouse. The RSPCA has launched a public appeal to find the woman after the four-month-old lurcher-cross called Hobi tragically passed away.
The bloodied dog was left for dead outside Woodhaven Kennels in South Milford, near Leeds, at around 7pm on Thursday, May 7. Hobi was rushed to the vet but unfortunately died due to dehydration, head trauma and bleeding from one ear. He didn’t have a microchip, but he still had baby teeth, which allowed vets to determine he was only a few months old. The RSPCA believes the pup may have been injured on the day he was thrown into the kennel.
Pictures show the mystery woman, dressed in all black, carrying Hobi before throwing him outside the hut. After he left, another woman came in a gray sedan and asked what happened to the dog.
The second woman, wearing a pink top, said the dog belonged to a friend but did not give details. The RSPCA is currently working to trace the owner and is appealing to the public for relevant information.
RSPCA Inspector Joanne Taylor, who conducted the investigation, said: “His cognitive awareness deteriorated significantly after he was admitted, which the vet said could indicate a recent or same-day injury due to a haemorrhage to the brain. However, the head injury could also have been an older problem.”
He added: “This is an extremely saddening and distressing incident and we would very much like to speak to this individual as we believe he may have vital information that could support our investigations.”
