Golders Green fire LIVE: Huge fire breaks out behind Jewish supermarket Kosher Kingdom | UK | News

A huge fire broke out in Golders Green, north London, and a huge plume of smoke was visible for miles. Fire crews from London Fire Brigade (LFB) rushed to the site on Wednesday morning (May 27) to tackle the blaze, which broke out from a three-storey building on Golders Green Road “with a shop on the ground floor and a building on the upper floor”.

Online reports suggest the fire may have started near or behind the Jewish supermarket Kosher Kingdom. Some surrounding roads were closed and residents were asked to keep their doors and windows closed. The fire service added: “Please avoid the area as firefighters attempt to extinguish the fire.”
