₹1.22 Crore Suspected Hawala Cash Seized on Devagiri Express

Hyderabad: GRP and RPF personnel seized ₹ 1.22 crore in suspected hawala money from a passenger traveling by Devagiri Express from Mumbai to Secunderabad.

The accused, identified as Vijay Ambadas Gupta from Maharashtra, was allegedly carrying money linked to a jewelery business. He could not provide valid documents for the money.

Authorities also seized his mobile phone, identity documents and train ticket.
