Alex Burghart, the Conservative Party’s shadow secretary for Northern Ireland, claimed in the statement that many documents were missing and that some ministers had not delivered WhatsApp messages.
He added that Sir Keir Starmer was ‘almost absent’ from the 1,000-page files.
‘There is no trace of that decision, as if he had somehow appointed Peter Mandelson as ambassador,’ he said.
It comes after a government spokesman said the publication would provide “unprecedented government transparency”.
