CM Reviews Working Of Revenue And Cooperative Depts.

Chennai: Initiating a prolonged series of review meetings on the workings of various State ministries ahead of the presentation of the State Budget, Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay on Thursday reviewed the functioning of the Revenue and Cooperative departments in the Secretariat.

Ministers and senior officials responsible for the functioning of the departments attended the meetings.

In the coming days, it will be examined to understand the functioning of other departments and the problems they face. The implementation will continue until the Parliament reconvenes for the presentation of the Budget towards the end of the month.

Based on the discussions held in the review meetings, the annual budget, which will be the first budget to be presented by the TVK government, will be prepared.
