Nepal is India’s Priority Partner
New Delhi: Nepal is India’s priority partner and New Delhi looks forward to working with the new government in the Himalayan neighboring country to take bilateral relations to higher levels, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday after meeting Nepal Rastriya Swatantra Party president Rabi Lamichhane.
In a statement, the PMO said Modi welcomed Lamichhane’s desire to work closely with India for a common and prosperous future. The Prime Minister noted that Nepal is a priority partner under India’s Neighborhood First policy and said India looks forward to collaborating with the new government to strengthen the special and multifaceted relationship between the two countries.
