Wild Trump health rumor sparks furious White House response over ‘left-wing’ plot

Donald Trump’s absence from public events for days sparked wild speculation about the 79-year-old President’s health, but he emerged from the Oval Office on Wednesday afternoon.
Left-winger Aaron Rupar, an expert on viral clips and X-hot takes, sensationally claimed earlier today: ‘It’s been a week since then [Trump] appeared publicly for anything other than a pre-recorded interview.’
“His last public event was his cabinet meeting last Wednesday, a day after his trip to Walter Reed,” Rupar told his more than one million followers.
But the White House backtracked, with spokesman Davis Ingle telling the Daily Mail: ‘President Trump participated in a wide-ranging 45-minute interview yesterday and will hold public press events tomorrow and Friday.
‘Anyone who uses the president’s program to further leftist conspiracies is a grade A idiot.’
Despite Rupar’s claim, Trump, 79, appeared in the Oval Office around 4 p.m. to announce an executive order aimed at securing the border.
Wild rumors on social media nevertheless raised concerns among the public, and Google searches for ‘Trump paralyzed’ and ‘Trump missing’ increased.
Before the Oval Office announcement, Trump had gone unnoticed since Sunday, when he returned to the White House from his golf club in Sterling, Virginia.
Despite Rupar’s false claim, Trump arrived at the Oval Office around 4 p.m. to announce an executive order to secure the border.

Renewed speculation about Trump’s health comes after Trump visited the hospital last Tuesday for his third visit since taking office in January 2025.
Following the visit, Trump declared at Truth Social that “everything was PERFECTLY checked out.”
His doctor, US Navy Capt. Sean Barbarella, wrote in a memo released by the White House that Trump “is in excellent health and demonstrates strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological and overall physical function.”
The report includes information on Trump’s vital statistics, references various scans performed, and offers minor advice on preventative care.
The president was listed at 75 inches and 238 pounds, 14 pounds heavier than last year, but had a healthy resting heart rate and normal blood pressure. He takes two cholesterol medications and aspirin for his heart, according to the report.
The results came later than usual; The intense scrutiny only increased over the bruises on his hands, the swelling on his ankles, and his claims that he was in cognitive decline.
Trump’s examination alarmed doctors, who said it was ‘too good to be true’ and that vital data was missing.

Jonathan Reiner, the heart doctor of the late Vice President Dick Cheney, said on social media: ‘There is no other explanation for not releasing the results of the President’s medical examination other than not wanting the American people to know something.’
Texas vascular surgeon David Shutze told the Wall Street Journal: ‘This report is too good to be true for someone his age. This seems like a filtered narrative.’
Trump became the oldest person ever elected to the presidency, beating his predecessor Joe Biden by nearly five months.
Presidents are not required to make their medical information public.
But Trump has faced growing political pressure to release Biden’s records after making his health a cornerstone of his presidential campaign, criticizing his rival as ‘Sleepy Joe’ for failing to take a cognitive test.
Shutze downplayed the report’s tendency to confirm Trump’s health without offering specific data to back up Barbarella’s claims.
Reiner noted that many of the tests mentioned in the White House report were conducted recently on Trump and that it was unusual for them to be repeated.
Barbarella’s report also cited an AI analysis of the echocardiogram that revealed Trump’s “heart age” was fifteen years younger than his actual age.

This AI assessment is ‘not a clinically used tool,’ Reiner said.
Although Trump boasts that he is unusually fit for his age, some aspects of his aging have become difficult to hide from the public.
Trump’s hands appear to be bruised frequently, and he sometimes uses make-up or bandages to hide it.
The president and those around him attributed the bruising to frequent handshakes and the effects of regular doses of aspirin, a blood thinner.
Last year, it was revealed that the President was suffering from chronic venous insufficiency, a circulatory problem common in elderly patients, after photos showed swelling in his lower legs.
Barbarella’s report stated that the swelling had resolved, without going into detail.
The White House said omitting detailed screening results was typical of an ‘executive summary’.
White House communications director Steven Cheung slammed ‘outside doctors speculating wildly about a person’s health.’
“President Trump has publicly disclosed more detailed information about his health than any other president in history,” Cheung added.
