The Ukrainian forces reportedly killed more than 1,000 troops in destructive counter attacks on the Pokrovsk front and threatened them to besiege three Russian units. President Zelensky made a surprise visit to the Pokrovsk front to congratulate his army for their success.
He confirmed that it was completely liberated for 160 square kilometers, was cleaned one more than 171 square kilometers, but that he was not consolidated, including 7 released and 9 cleaned settlements.
With three separate groups surrounded by Dobropillia, the Ukrainian forces are well placed to mop them.
The video images recorded by the Ukrainian army and shared on social media channels showed some of the violent fights around the Eastern City. A clip shows that a Russian motorcycle group was seized and deleted by the drones before reaching the front.
