BHP Drops Case Against Michael West Media, Suppression Orders Remain | The West Report

BHP dropped its lawsuit against Michael West Media but the legal battle is not over yet.
After dragging this imprint and coal miner Simon Turner to the Federal Court, BHP has now suspended proceedings against us while continuing its case against Turner. At the same time, blanket closure orders were imposed on much of the case, preventing public scrutiny of matters that we clearly believed were in the public interest.
