Nabin instructs BJP cadre in Jharkhand to gear up for 2029 Assembly election

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin on Sunday, June 7, 2026, instructed party workers in Jharkhand to prepare for the 2029 Assembly Elections in the state.

He was addressing a meeting held at the party office in Ranchi as part of his two-day visit to the state ending June 7, 2026. During his first visit to the state after becoming the national chairman of the party, provincial officials, provincial wing chairmen (Morchas), regional chairmen and district officers were present.

Addressing party workers and leaders, Mr. Nabin said that the current team in Jharkhand will lead the party in the next elections. He suggested that every worker should prepare for 2029 and learn from past surveys.

“Jharkhand was, is and will remain the stronghold of the BJP. Even though the party could not achieve the expected success in the last election as the opposition parties misled the people with false promises, people still have more love in their hearts for the BJP than the ‘INDI Alliance’,” Mr. Nabin said.

He stated that his party could not gain the trust of the public, but it was time to turn the atmosphere of disappointment into hope. He added that the organization needs to be revitalized by motivating booth level employees.

Mr. Nabin directed that regular monthly meetings be held at all levels, from the state to the government. Latch At (block/cluster) level to maintain ongoing communication with rank-and-file employees.

Talking about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), which is set to begin in the state on June 20, he directed party workers to approach the exercise seriously and called for regular reviews of SIR activities from the state to the booth level.

He also directed to hold dialogues and conferences to interact with 500 prominent, enlightened citizens in each district. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s words on Viksit Bharat 2047 (Developed India 2047), he stated that the dream of a developed India can be realized only if the organization of the BJP is strong at the booth level and the workers devote themselves to organizational expansion with all their energy and dedication.

Jharkhand BJP President Aditya Sahu and Leader of Opposition in Jharkhand Assembly Babulal Marandi were also present at the meeting and asked party workers to start agitations on local issues.
