“We need to make money in politics. We need to get rid of Citizens United. And if it were up to me, the elections would be two months long, publicly funded, and if a billionaire looked at a TV ad wrong, we’d put them in jail,” Platner told a crowd of voters in Maine Sunday night, to applause. The comments come as Platner has laid out his far-left agenda and railed against conservatives, including calling out the President. Donald Trump “giddy.”
