Ex-Cowboys star relishes in Knicks loss after fans were ‘hating on President Trump’
Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant said he enjoyed the misery of New York Knicks fans and that a majority of the fans blamed President Donald Trump for the team’s Game 3 loss.
The San Antonio Spurs won Game 3 from New York, 115-111, in front of a raucous crowd that included Trump. The Knicks turned the ball over 13 times in the loss and shot 45% from the field. The Spurs shot 46% from the field and committed only eight turnovers.

But that didn’t stop some Knicks fans from blaming Trump for the team’s loss, not to mention that New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani was also in attendance.
“You Knicks fans are in this situation because you hate President Trump!” Bryant wrote about X.
Trump got a big reaction from the crowd at Madison Square Garden. This was in stark contrast to the reception he received when he attended the college football national championship in Florida in January.
Bryant also slammed critics after they accused him of being a Trump fan.
“No matter what personal issue you have with Trump.. IDGAF! go smash your face into the concrete if it makes you feel better!” wrote in one reply.

Another added: “Sorry.. I don’t spend my time focusing on politics.. I don’t know what he deserves!”
Whatever the offense, Knicks coach Mike Brown took issue with the foul disparity. While Spurs made 32 free throws, Knicks made 22 free throws.
“First of all, I want to make sure I make something clear,” Brown began. “Coach Mitch Johnson and the Spurs. They won the game tonight. They came in and took the game.

“But I will say this: I never thought I’d be in the NBA Finals and one team would make 24 free throw attempts in the second half while another team would make eight. I don’t think I complain much about the referees or fairness when it comes to free throw attempts.”
