Air Arabia flight makes emergency landing

An Air Arabia flight from Thiruvananthapuram to Sharjah was forced to turn back and make an emergency landing on Wednesday morning following suspected bird strike shortly after take-off.

The plane landed safely at the airport and all passengers were evacuated without incident. The flight was then grounded and subjected to detailed inspections by the airline’s engineering team.

While Air Arabia did not make an official statement about the incident, airport officials said that the plane had to return due to a technical problem with its engine performance.
