Meghan Markle releases new video in clash with Royal Family’s big Trooping the Colour day | Royal | News

Meghan Markle appeared in a new promotional video on the same day as the Royal Family’s Trooping the Color event. The Duchess of Sussex is seen pouring a glass of wine in a new ad for her brand As Ever.

It comes after Prince Harry’s video was released just minutes before the Royal Family stepped out at this year’s Trooping the Color in London. The cars left Buckingham Palace at approximately 10.45am and Harry’s message was shared online around 11.11am.

Prince Harry included a message for the Invictus Germany Sports Festival 2026, which will take place between 12-14 June.

In the message shared at the second Invictus German Sports Festival, Harry told attendees: “Thank you for your service… Have a great time in Düsseldorf. Lean on them when you need to and celebrate everything you’ve achieved and most importantly have fun.”

Troops of the Color is a celebration to mark the monarch’s official birthday and is a historic event that takes place every June.

Meghan’s new ad for As Ever’s Summer Pour reads: “There’s something special about an opened bottle, friends gathered, a table setting and a season that invites us to linger a little longer.”

The rest of the trailer details several different wines in the collection; The 2024 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, 2021 Vinateg Napa Valley Brut, and 2024 Napa Valley Rose are all priceless.

After stepping down as senior royal staff in 2020, Harry and his wife have not attended Trooping the Color since 2019. This was shortly after the couple became parents to Prince Archie.

Harry will travel to England next month to take part in the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham. The 41-year-old founded the Games in 2014, with the first being held in London.

It is unknown whether Meghan and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, will travel to the UK with her.

The games in Birmingham will take place between 10 and 17 July 2027.
