Suspect at large as one person killed in Delaware hospital shooting | Delaware

The suspect who shot two people and killed one of them at a Delaware hospital was still at large Tuesday, police said. in question at a press conference.
The attack was reported at the Wilmington hospital around 3:30 p.m., police Chief Wilfredo Campos said at the news conference. Campos declined to release information about the identities of the victims or the condition of the shooting survivor.
Campos said investigators are trying to identify and track down the shooter and determine how the person left the building.
ChristianaCare, which operates the hospital, said in an emailed statement that it was removing patients from the emergency room and “taking all necessary steps to ensure the safety of our patients, caregivers, and visitors.”
“This is an active police investigation into a possible active shooter,” the statement said.
The quarantine at the hospital was lifted on Tuesday night.
Violence remains a persistent problem in hospitals across the United States.
Wilmington, Delaware’s largest city with a population of approximately 71,000, is about 25 miles south of Philadelphia.
