Monsoon tracker LIVE: Heavy overnight rain, flooding disrupts life in Western part of Hyderabad

TThe rain that fell throughout the night in the western part of Hyderabad caused floods and power outages, negatively affecting the lives of the people. While Kethireddypalli near Moinabad recorded 12.9 cm rainfall, Chandanagar recorded 12.7 cm and Lingampally recorded 11.7 cm rainfall till 5 am on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, and was classified as very heavy rainfall by the Telangana Development Planning Association.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall warning in four Telangana districts on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. According to the report, rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Medak and Kamareddy districts.

IMD has issued an Orange alert for Mumbai. The forecast calls for storms, lightning and rain. The southwest monsoon is expected to begin over the city on Tuesday (June 2026).
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and heavy rain are expected to affect many parts of Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday. There is a high probability of lightning and heavy rain in remote areas in West Kameng, East Kameng, Papum Pare, West Siang, Lower Dibang Valley, Lohit and Namsai districts.
