Teenage girl allegedly abducted on her way to school in Springvale South

A teenager has been charged after allegedly kidnapping a 17-year-old boy on his way to school in Melbourne’s south-east.
Police allege a 17-year-old girl was walking towards Keysborough Secondary School on Janine Rd in South Springvale at around 8.30am on Friday morning when she was approached by a teenage boy.
The police statement said, “The man allegedly put the girl in a vehicle that fled the scene.”
Special Operations Group officers later arrested a 15-year-old boy at around 12:00 the same day.
“The parties are believed to know each other,” police said.
The young girl was taken to the hospital.
The 15-year-old has been charged with kidnapping and will appear in court on Saturday.
