Swimmer still missing off Trigg beach
Despite overnight efforts by police and rescue teams, there is still no sign of the swimmer who disappeared from Trigg yesterday.
An emergency call was made just after 5pm on Tuesday because a swimmer was in distress at the Blue Hole.
The City of Stirling says the area is one of the most dangerous shoreline areas due to rips.
Water police and search teams including helicopters, Surf Life Saving WA and Sea Rescue combed the water yesterday but found no sign of the person.
Search efforts will continue at first light this morning.
Police are urging anyone who was unable to get their loved one back home yesterday to get in touch.
