Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday (June 28) described the BJP as a “factory of lies” and accused the party of misleading people and undermining the Constitution and democratic values.
Addressing a department-level awareness program about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls organized by the Congress in Mysuru, Mr. Siddaramaiah alleged that the BJP was resorting to unethical means to capture and retain power.

“BJP is a factory of lies. It produces lies and propagates them until they are accepted as truth. It misleads the people and does not believe in the Constitution and democratic values.”
Accusing the BJP of pursuing a centralized political agenda, Mr. Siddaramaiah said the party was trying to impose ‘One Nation, One Election’. “BJP believes in dictatorship rather than democracy,” he accused.
