Jude Bellingham wants to be the next James Bond! England star joins James Corden to confess big-screen ambition – and for some Carpool Karaoke

Jude Bellingham announced that he wants to be the next James Bond and even submitted an audition tape.

The British star did his best Bond impression while sitting next to James Corden on the carpool show on FOX TV.

He also sang Sweet Caroline without skipping a single lyric, leading many viewers to speculate that perhaps he was debonair enough to replace Daniel Craig.

The 23-year-old player, who scored two goals for England in the World Cup, said, “I would love to act in a movie.”

‘People always ask me: ‘What is something you want to do outside of football? I never thought about it that much, but when I did, I always thought, I’d love to be in a movie.

‘I would love to be James Bond. I watched it all. I watched this [Sean] The Connerys, Roger Moore, I’ve seen them all, I love James Bond.

‘I swear I would love to be behind a James Bond movie.’

Corden then shouted in shock. Why do you want to just be in the background? Why not go whole hog?

“You have to crawl before you can walk,” Bellingham replied, but Corden was in no mood to let him go.

And so the attacking midfielder was tasked with delivering the franchise’s iconic line: ‘The name is Bond, James Bond.’

After his first try, Corden was impressed and even Bellingham appeared optimistic about his chances, concluding: ‘I think I’ve got a chance.’

He also recreated Jack Nicholson’s line ‘You can’t handle the truth’ from the 1992 film A Few Good Men.

Bellingham achieved a level of fame in his life comparable to that of a Hollywood star.

He explained how he had to wear a ‘hoodie and hat’. [and] If he wants to walk around Madrid and not be recognized, he will stay in the shadows.

He said he wants to move to Los Angeles one day, like David Beckham.

‘It can be hard when you’re losing, but generally speaking, there are some really friendly people in the city,’ he said.

The Stourbridge native also spoke about his admiration for David Beckham and what he has achieved in the United States, saying he wants to emulate him.

Beckham joined LA Galaxy in 2007 and currently owns Inter Miami.

“I think it would be great to live and play there too,” Bellingham said.

‘I think that would be quite nice at some point.

‘Look at Becks and him going to LA Galaxy and doing what he did in Miami.’
