Woman charged over scissors stabbing at city hotel

A woman was accused of attempted murder after allegedly stabbing her colleague with a pair of scissors behind a reception area of a luxury hotel.
Police and ambulance teams were called to Intercontinental Hotel in Sydney to report an attack on a employee around 2.20 on Saturday.
A 30 -year -old woman found multiple knife wounds on the upper body in the rear office area behind the reception at the Macquarie Street Hotel.
Sydney City Police Region Command Chief Inspector Gary Coffey confirmed that the cause behind the attack remained uncertain, but it looks crazy in nature.
“At this stage, we can’t confirm the exact reason, except for his colleagues,” he told reporters on Saturday.
“You should think there is some kind of dispute this morning.”
Det Insp Coffey said that a 27 -year -old woman was injured when she tried to intervene in the debate.
“We should pay tribute to his colleagues who intervened because it could have been much worse than the situation.” He said.
Both wounded women were taken to ST Vincent Hospital, which is expected to have a 30 -year -old child on Saturday afternoon.
In the meantime, a 31 -year -old woman accused a person of a person of wound/serious physical damage with the intention of murder and attacked by real physical damage.
On Sunday, he refused to appear in front of the local court in front of the local court.
Detectives were prepared to review CCTV images of the event.
