Earlier Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi issued a stern warning to the United States, urging President Donald Trump to “mute his pets” in Israel after Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei was “marked for death.”

While sharing the text of Katz’s statements in a report in his post, Araghchi said, “The terms of the Islamabad MoU are extremely clear and open for all to see. POTUS has committed the US to muzzle its pets in Tel Aviv. If they ignore their masters, Iran will train them. Any threat to our people and Leadership will receive an immediate strong response.” he said.
These remarks came after Israeli Defense Minister Katz said on Monday that he was “marked for death”, referring to Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei.
Katz also called the Iranians “good traders” and reiterated that he tried to gain concessions during the negotiations and that Israel would not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons. According to the text shared by Araghchi, Katz said, “It would be much better if they do this through an agreement.”
