The GWS Giants made another bow in Canberra and ended their 14-match winning streak with a win over Premier League favorites Fremantle.
The Giants took the lead early and held on late, despite the Dockers winning the final term, which GWS won by 21 points.
Midfielder Clayton Oliver scored a match-high 32 goals, Finn Callaghan 30 and Jake Stringer 7.
“We had a very young group today and we knew we just had to scrap and fight,” Stringer told Kayo Sports.
