Telangana releases ₹6,590.36 crore Ryhtu Bhaorsa assistance for 65.76 lakh farmers in four days

The Telangana government has released ₹6,590.36 crore to 65.76 lakh farmers covering 109.84 lakh acres under the Rythu Bharosa – Vanakalam 2026 investment support scheme within the first four days of disbursement.

According to official data, financial assistance was credited in phases based on the size of land ownership, with payments covering farmers owning up to five acres of land by the fourth day.

On June 30, the government provided relief to 26.55 lakh farmers owning one acre of land and transferred ₹878.94 crore for 14.65 lakh acres. On the same day, another 17.73 lakh beneficiaries owning up to two acres of land received ₹1,603.08 crore covering 26.72 lakh acres.

On July 1, the second phase covered 10.68 lakh farmers owning up to three acres of land and ₹ 1,590.02 crore was released for 26.50 lakh acres.

On July 2, assistance was extended to 6.39 lakh farmers owning up to four acres of land and ₹1,330.33 crore was credited for 22.17 lakh acres.

The latest tranche, announced on July 3, benefited 4.41 lakh farmers owning up to five acres of land. The government transferred ₹1,187.99 crore covering 19.80 lakh acres.

With the completion of the four phases, the government has so far disbursed ₹6,590.36 crore in loans to 65.76 lakh beneficiaries covering 109.84 lakh acres.

The phased release of Rythu Bharosa assistance for the Vanakalam 2026 season is progressing as planned and payments are expected to be made to farmers with larger landholdings in the subsequent phases, officials said.
