Myanmar Military Junta Lifts Emergency, Paves Way For National Elections | World News

Myanmar’s military junta on Thursday ended with an emergency in force because he seized power from the elected government of Aung San Sau Kyi on 1 February 2021.
According to the media reports, Military Junta announced that an 11 -member commission was formed to make national elections under the chairmanship of Min Aung Hlaing.
He added to the media reports that Min Aung Hlaing would hold control the country as a temporary president and supervise the election process.
Opposition groups, who were former deputies who came into play during the coup, promised to boycott the election that a UN expert described as “fake” as a “fake”.
