Wayanad landslip LIVE: At least two workers rescued, several feared trapped; NDRF deployed

A landslide occurred on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the Anakkampoil-Kalladi-Meppadi double tunnel road construction near Meenakshi Bridge in Kalladi in Wayanad district.

Rescue Operations are ongoing and NDRF has been deployed to the area on emergency basis.

While at least two workers were rescued and taken to hospital, search efforts are continuing to determine whether other construction workers are trapped under the rubble.
