Eurostar disruption LIVE: London route faces ‘severe delays’ after ‘incident’ | World | News

Eurostar has warned its customers that serious delays are expected today on trains between London and Lille/Brussels/Rotterdam/Amsterdam. The train operator said the disruption was caused by “emergency services responding to an incident near the tracks at Lille Europe”.

Passengers affected by the delays were given the option to change their tickets free of charge to travel at a different time or date. Many people reported travel disruptions on social media, with some users claiming their trains from London St Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord were also affected. At around 12.40pm, user One “We are awaiting an update from the rail network manager to determine how your journey may be affected.”
