Since September, Art Minister John Graham has given $ 1.5 million to the Writers Festival for the first year for the events in the CarriageWorks, except for a week of May Festival in Carriageworks.

Negotiations and events led by the festival in the library will rise to 75 to 80 events per year from six to 10 annually to 75 to 80 events per year and approve the library as the second house of the festival. All of the Evolution of the Writers Festival is a platform for local and international thinkers throughout the year, activity programs and Melbourne’s Wheeler center style.
