Wisconsin football team gets uniform reveal for matchup against Notre Dame at Lambeau Field

The Wisconsin Badgers will be using some great alternate jerseys this season against Notre Dame.

It’s no secret that I’m a Wisconsin guy and A LOT Dark years for the program in Madison. What was once a proud Big Ten powerhouse has become a sad shell of its own under Luke Fickell’s leadership.

2026 certainly looks like a make-or-break year for Fickell, who has compiled a 17-21 record with the Badgers since he was hired.

While no one knows what the future holds, we do know that the team will be wearing some stylish alternative threads this season.

Wisconsin makes some great alternate uniforms.

The Badgers have released a look at their alternate jerseys for their game against Notre Dame on Sept. 6 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

While I’m not a huge fan of alternate uniforms in general, I have to admit these are pretty cool.

• The 2026 Lambeau jerseys use silver as a Lombardi Trophy-inspired color. Our stripes are a combination of three iconic patterns: the Packers’ modern 3-stripe, the Badgers’ modern 2-stripe, and the Camp Randall Arch voussoir breaks.
• The Badger Red shell returns with new rose red accents and metallic “Motion W” logo. Rose Red represents our storied history in the Rose Bowl game, while silver metallic dimensional letters on Motion W feature the historic Camp Randall stone texture.
• 2026 Lambeau jerseys are designed to honor the start of 2026 college football season and we celebrate the United States of America America’s 250th birthday Titletown is in the USA.

I must admit that Culver’s patch is incredibly difficult. Is there more to Wisconsin than Badgers football and Culver’s football?

Considering the fact that America is celebrating 250, it couldn’t have been better. It’s like it was made in a laboratory for the people of Wisconsin. I give these alternate uniforms a solid A grade.
