He met the girl’s parents at their home and spoke to family members of Indrajit Mondal, who was later lynched.

A senior official said that the Chief Minister gave an appointment letter to Mondal’s elder brother for his civic volunteer duty and a check of ₹25 lakh to his family.
Mr. Adhikari had earlier said that Mondal was innocent and those involved in his lynching would be charged with murder. 5 people have been arrested so far regarding the incident.
Indrajit Mondal’s elder brother Bapi Mondal said: “Chief Minister assured us that all help will be provided. He gave me the appointment letter and asked me to join the work.
