Toronto shooting: two dead and three injured as police search for active shooter | Toronto

Toronto police were searching for an active shooter Saturday night after finding five people with gunshot wounds, two of whom were pronounced dead.

Police officers were called to the Salsa on St Clair festival, an area full of shops and restaurants in the St Clair Boulevard West area near Arlington Boulevard, at 8:12 p.m. for a report of a shooting with multiple injuries.

No information has yet been given about the condition of the remaining 3 injured people.

“Please avoid the area immediately and follow all police instructions,” Toronto police said in an X post.
