Tutu hospital gown gives little Ava chance to feel like a ballerina while battling leukaemia

Little Ava O’kelly had to stop dance lessons while fighting cancer, but the creation of a tutu medical garment means that she can still feel like a ballerina even when she is based on challenging treatments in the hospital.

The four -year -old Wa was the first child to buy a ballerina -themed medical garment by Supeee, and thanks to Telethon financing, more than 1500 super will be provided to children in WA hospitals next year.

The outfit may seem like any other dressing costume, but it has side and upper openings that allow parents and hospital staff to easily change clothes and change medical lines or skip medical lines.

My mother Lucy O’kelly said that they stayed in the first hospital where she was first given to Ava in May 2024 when she had a test rush.

“He thinks that a T-shirt is the least in mind when you pass through lumbar ponarchies, bone marrow tests, too many theater and general anesthetics, but when you have it, it completely changes everything.”

“For children, they don’t realize that it’s just for the hard things they think they’re dressed.

“This new design is incredible. When you are in the hospital, there’s still nothing better than feeling like a princess.”

Small AVA has a long way to recover every day with oral chemotherapy and once again with intensive treatment.

However, one year after dance classes, he was able to return to ballet and tap.

“You can see that pirouettes and energy around the room are back, that’s really good, Mrs Mrs. O’kelly said.

Children in Perth Children’s Hospital Warnings, Western Australian volunteers, took hundreds of clothes packing and took super.

Superee founder Jason Sotiris was based on the support of organizations such as Telethon to provide as many children as possible.

“We work throughout the country, but we trust the aid of volunteers, and it was appropriate for us to have a package of WA Australians only for WA children because of the generosity of 7telethon,” he said.

“There are many studies showing that it has the power to have a cost, and it allows children to imitate a hero, and in this case the first time we want to give to children is a beautiful ballerina costume.

“We want to have a little fun, a little imagination, and at the same time, we want to bring some comfort and some joy to what children experience in the hospital.”
