Jefford told the trio that “they were all responsible for Logan’s death and all the pain that resulted from it.”

He described the injuries Logan suffered as “the kind of injuries seen in abused children.”
Logan, previously a “smiling, cheerful little boy”, died after being subjected to a “brutal and sustained” attack at his home, leaving him with 56 “catastrophic” injuries, including extensive bruising to the back of his head and lacerations to his liver and intestines.
It was said that Cole would be sentenced to at least 29 years in prison, while Mulligan would serve at least 15 years. All three were convicted of Logan’s murder in July 2021.
