Justice transitioned to television in 1966 when he guest-starred on ABC’s popular Western series The Big Valley.
This helped kick his Hollywood career into high gear.
Shortly after taking on The Big Valley, he was offered a role in the 1967 film The Way West, starring alongside Kirk Douglas, Robert Mitchum and Sally Field.
His first major starring role was in the popular made-for-TV movie Prescription: Murder.
She played the glamorous Joan Hudson alongside Columbo icon Peter Falk.
Released in 1968, the film gave rise to the long-running TV series Columbo.
Justice’s other notable film roles include the 1968 Western film 5 Card Stud, in which he reunited with Mitchum and worked with icon Dean Martin.
