The US intelligence report concluded that there was no foreign interference in the 2020 elections. This was done before Trump’s first term ended in January 2021.
“We have no indication that any foreign actor attempted to alter any technical aspect of the voting process in the 2020 U.S. elections, including voter registration, voting, vote tabulation, or reporting of results,” the report, released under the Trump administration, said.
“We assess that it would be difficult for a foreign actor to manipulate election processes on a large scale without being detected through intelligence collection from the actors themselves, physical and cyber security monitoring around nationwide voting systems, or post-election audits,” the statement said.
The report was made public by the Biden administration in March 2021.
