-At 6 p.m., police were called to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in downtown Memphis.

– They were responding to a bomb threat.

– Officers from multiple law enforcement agencies surrounded the campus and soon blocked the entrances and exits.

– Around 19.30, some law enforcement officers left the building.

– Around 8 p.m., Memphis police confirmed that an unfeasible bomb threat had been made and after an extensive search determined it was a hoax.

– Police said: “MPD officers, along with our law enforcement partners, very carefully searched the building and the surrounding area.”
