Meghan Markle’s ‘vulgar act’ slammed as William ‘fuming’ | Royal | News

Meghan Markle has been condemned by a royal expert who described her decision to share a photo of her children at Princess Diana’s former home as a “rude act”.

The Duchess of Sussex posted a photo on her Instagram account showing Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet strolling around the grounds of Princess Diana’s childhood home, Althorp Estate. In the photo, Archie was seen carrying a bouquet of flowers, leading many to speculate that the couple had visited the late Princess of Wales at her grave.

The choice to release the image sparked widespread criticism online, with many expressing concern about the estranged royal. It was also claimed that he infuriated not only the public but also Prince William.

Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan, known for her comments about the British Royal Family, wrote a harsh opinion piece about the incident.

He suggested that Meghan may have shared the image as “an act of defiance”, especially given that no photos were allowed during Harry and Meghan’s meeting with King Charles earlier this month.

Maureen also noted that Prince William and his wife, Princess Catherine, undoubtedly visited Princess Diana’s grave with their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, but no photographs of such visits have been made public. “William and Catherine are decent, serious people who understand that some things are sacred,” Maureen wrote.

“Diana was buried on that island, in her family’s private residence, to prevent her cemetery from becoming a circus, a tourist attraction, a commodity.”

The columnist continued to attack Meghan, branding the publication of the image “vulgar” and “insensitive” and drawing comparisons to when Princess Diana shared images of herself relaxing in a car near where she died; This was something that left William “furious”.

This follows reports from a source who revealed that Harry is becoming increasingly desperate for reconciliation and is reportedly feeling “alienated” from his family.

“I don’t think so [Harry’s] “I always wanted to get away from his family,” the source said. “I think when he was madly in love with Meghan, he might have been blind enough to choose her. Now things have changed and the curtain is rising,” the source said.

Last year, it was also reported that the Duke of Sussex was feeling homesick, with a close friend claiming he missed England very much.

A confidant close to the Duke told the Standard: “Spike (his nickname among old schoolmates) is seriously homesick. He’s been reaching out to us more and more.”

They further added, “It started with very long and serious WhatsApps. We actually all made a decision when we started not pushing them about it. It was something we wouldn’t have dreamed of doing a few years ago. Anyway, slowly he’s starting to sound more normal.”

“Every time someone goes to America, they try to see him. But he never seems to be with Meghan. We think he’s starting to get homesick,” the insider said.
