Pawan Kalyan’s Wife Requests All to Address Her With His Surname

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan’s wife Anna has written a heartfelt note asking people to call her Anna Konidala. In her post, she said that she officially took her husband’s surname after their marriage in 2013: “The name is such a personal thing. With my birthday approaching, I felt it was finally the right moment to write it. I’ve been thinking about doing this since I opened this Instagram account. I wrote it, deleted it… went back again. And I couldn’t find the right way to say it. Many people first recognized me as Anna Lezhneva because that was it. When the news about our marriage broke, this name was everywhere,” she read.

“The funny thing is that our marriage certificate is actually the last official document in which this surname appears. That day, I took my husband’s surname and became Anna Konidala. So, if you have read this far, I have a small request. Please call me Anna Konidala. This is my name and the name I feel like myself next to. Thank you for your understanding. It really means a lot to me.” Anna also shared a throwback photo with Pawan Kalyan from their trip to Saint Petersburg, Russia. “Note: The photo was taken during our first trip together to Saint Petersburg, Russia,” he added.

Pawan Kalyan, the younger brother of actors Chiranjeevi and Nagendra Babu, made his acting debut in 1996 with Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi. He was previously married to Nandini and actress-model Renu Desai. Pawan married Nandini in 1997 but their marriage ended soon after. He later married Renu Desai in 2009 and they parted ways in 2012. The former couple has two children named Akira Nandan and Aadhya. Pawan married Anna, who is originally from Russia, in 2013. They have two children named Polena Anjana Pawanova and Mark Shankar Pawanovich.
