Hollywood’s biggest names jetted across the Atlantic to be honoured for their illustrious careers, as stars descended on Claridge’s for the Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards on Thursday.

Cate Blanchett, Mikey Madison and Isla Fisher were among those in attendance for the event, which honours extraordinary women who have shaped the worlds of fashion, film, art, sport, literature and culture over the past year.

No stranger to glitzy events, Cate arrived in a dazzling blue dress with an intricately painted artwork skirt, while Mikey, who was set to receive the Film Actress award, opted for a chic pale grey dress.

Isla Fisher cut a chic figure in a black fitted dress with fringed sleeves as she made an early arrival to pose for photos at the awards.

During the ceremony, Harper’s Bazaar Editor-in-Chief Lydia Slater honoured screen and stage legend Glenn Close with the Icon Award in recognition of her dazzling five-decade career portraying complex, challenging women and her enduring impact on screen and stage. 

Mikey Madison was named Film Actress of the Year, recognised for the versatility of her performances, from her Oscar-winning turn in Anora to her searing portrayal of a real-life whistleblower in The Social Reckoning.

Following her acclaimed performance as Taggie O’Hara in Disney+’s Rivals, Bella Maclean received the Breakthrough Award, presented in association with headline partner, the Platinum Card® by American Express. 

Stephanie Cavalli was named Model of the Year after a landmark year that saw her challenge industry conventions and become a powerful symbol of age inclusivity in fashion, Harper’s Bazaar Deputy Editor, Lydia Slater presented the award.

The Traitors host and national treasure Claudia Winkleman was named Television Icon, an award celebrating the grace, charm and unmistakable style that have made her one of Britain’s best-loved broadcasters. 

Meanwhile, Cate took home the Theatre Actress Award for her dual-role performance in the National Theatre’s production of Electra/Persona, testament to her continued mastery of the stage and her status as one of the world’s most celebrated performers.

Having amassed more than a billion views on YouTube for her Chicken Shop Date series, Amelia Dimoldenberg received the Innovator Award for building one of the most influential media brands of her generation. 

Givenchy Creative Director Sarah Burton received the Designer Award in recognition of her extraordinary creative legacy and defining influence on luxury fashion.

Film-maker and photographer Sam Taylor-Johnson was named Artist of the Year for her bold creative vision and impact across the visual arts. 

Indhu Rubasingham and Kate Varah, joint powerhouses behind the National Theatre’s renaissance, both received the Change-Maker Award for their transformative leadership, championing new voices, broadening access and shaping the future of British theatre.

The 2026 Women of the Year Awards were also supported by Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame as Champagne Partner, reinforcing the Maison’s longstanding commitment to celebrating pioneering women, and Range Rover as Car Partner.

Ahead of receiving her coveted honour, Mikey opened up to Harper’s Bazaar UK about how her relationships have become ‘more complicated’ since she won an Oscar, as she reflected on how those close to her have changed.

Mikey won Best Actress in 2025 for her performance in Anora, and this year she starred in Aaron Sorkin’s film The Social Reckoning.

The star said that she’s learned to spot when those closest to her ‘want something’, instead of a genuine friendship, and said she can ‘smell it a mile away’.

She said: ‘I do feel like there’s always a voice in the back of my head, like, ”Does someone want something?” 

‘But then you want to believe that’s not true, and that what someone wants is just connection or friendship. And sometimes I also can just smell it from a mile away.’

The Traitors host previously spoke to the publication about her decision to say a firm no to carrying on with her chat show.

‘Argh! The BBC wanted me to give it a go. Maybe, I thought, let’s try something different? But never again,’ she insisted.

‘That’s it. It wasn’t for me. I didn’t enjoy it, I didn’t like having my name on it, it’s not what I’m good at. I need a format – it can’t just be me. They said, ‘OK, if that’s your decision, but we’d like you to try again’, and I was like, no. Once was enough.’ 

Taking place at Claridge’s in the heart of the capital, the annual event awards extraordinary women who have shaped the worlds of fashion, film, art, sport, literature and culture over the past year.

Winners will be named in categories spanning Icon, Breakthrough, Model, Actress, Television Icon, Designer, Innovator, Theatre Actress, Artist, Sporting Inspiration and Changemaker. 

Previous honourees include the late Dame Jilly Cooper, Victoria Beckham, Reese Witherspoon, Emilia Clarke, Janelle Monáe, Jenna Ortega, Chloe Kelly, Anya Taylor-Joy, Little Simz, Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, Erin Doherty, Lashana Lynch, Kylie Minogue and Keira Knightley.
