Migration fuels second biggest population rise in 75 years
According to the new figures, the population of England and Wales saw the second largest year of leap in 75 years in 75 years.

“In recent years, the population growth rate is higher and the increase in the year until 2014 represents the second largest increase in numerical terms for more than 75 years.
“Net international migration continues to be the main driving force of this growth by continuing the long -term tendency seen since the beginning of the century.”
