Wife of ex-army captain allegedly raised ‘idea of divorce’ over infidelity before alleged Qld kayak murder, court told

The wife of an ancient forested main branch allegedly killed on a canoe trip increased the idea of divorce after he discovered that he had a relationship with another woman while being deployed in Papua New Guinea.

Jacqueline Davidson allegedly talked to her husband Graeme about the movement after the significant marriage dispute between the couple emerged when they revealed their disjointedness in 2019.

Davidson, an old main branch in the Australian Army, was accused of the murder of his wife after drowning in a lake north of Brisbane on 27 November 2020.

It was said that a bail application that spilled on Friday in the High Court was told how Ms. Davidson’s husband had discovered a relationship with a woman in Papua New Guinea in 2019.

He had discussed the end of marriage, but in the end he did not continue this action.

Def Defense Lawyer Craig Eberhardt KC said, “There is no evidence”. Davidson said that he was planning to leave Mr. Davidson and that his client had been “determined önce to stay in the relationship before.

“The idea of divorce” was brought to the agenda by Ms. Davidson, but Mr. Eberhardt said it was different from what he showed “he intends to leave marriage”.

Eberhardt, “people are not remarkable to discuss the possibility of something, and ‘I leave to marriage and I have a screw you, it will be next week’ is something different,” he said.

The application will continue next week when Taç will talk about the opposition of Mr. Davidson’s bail.

The police claim that Mr. Davidson was involved in the drowning of his wife while doing canoeing at the Samsonvale Lake in Petrie.

He is also accused of fraud and fraud attempt – in relation to the allegations, he tried to demand almost 1 million dollars for life insurance payments after his wife’s death.

The court was told that the couple’s marriage was not marked with violence or abuse, and there was no indication that Mrs. Davidson planned to leave her husband.

In the crown case, only two allegations of violence were brought to the agenda in January this year, including one in Thailand and the other in Germany more than 20 years ago.

Mr. Eberhardt said that the latter was not “unacceptable ve in the trials and that his client was never accused of both allegations.

On Thursday, they show you how desperate they are (crown), they are trying to find some mud to escape and prevent them from getting bail. ”

Mr. Eberhardt described the crown case as “very weak, because Ms. Davidson had no injury to show a foul game.
