In the next few days, President Donald Trump plans to take part in two basic empty positions that will fill a place in the Federal Reserve.

Both points were opened on Friday – from Governor Adriana Kugler’s surprise resignation and the other from Trump’s Bureau of Labor Statistics Bureau Erika Mcentarfer.

Trump told journalists that he was considering a few possible islands for Sunday’s Fed Spot and that he was ready to replace Mcentarfer soon.

I have a few people in my mind, Tr Trump said about the gap of Kugler. “I will probably announce this in the next few days.”

Kugler’s sacrifice time ended next January, but decided to leave in advance. One Letter sent on Friday According to Trump, Kugler gave no reason for the movement that came into force on 8 August.

As a FED governor, Kugler became a permanent voter at the Federal Open Market Committee, which determines the basic fund level used as a Peg for interest rates in the US economy. In addition, governors help banking regulations.

During the short period of less than two years, Kugler was constantly aligned with President Jerome Powell policies, which are often at the receiving end of Trump criticism.

Trump said Turnusol will be tested as they will vote for future FED candidates to reduce the fund rate.

Kugler’s resignation “President Trump has started the Trumpification of the Fed by giving Powell a space for Powell as a potential or clearly determined successor.”

Potential successors include former Fed Governor Kevin Warsh, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett.

Discussions on the Number of Works

Trump dismissed Mcentarfer after the non -agricultural payroll report on Friday. BLS not only reported that the economy has only added only 73,000 jobs in July, but also decreased by 258,000 previous two -month totals.

One Real Social Post On Sunday, Trump claimed that Mcentarfer was responsible for “the biggest miscalculations in his love in his love”.

Since BLS receives more information through the questionnaire of the organizations used to calculate the non -Farm payroll figures, revisions are common for monthly job numbers. However, as the survey answers decreased over time, revisions increased last year, set up to 818,000 for the 12 -month period before March 2024.

Mcentarfer’s fire received widespread criticism because of the BLS statistics used to determine the policy of the movement and the concerns that he could politicize as a barometer for many aspects of the economy.

“Potential politicization of the FED has been discussed for the last few months, but the risk of politicization of the data collection should not be ignored,” JPMorgan Chase Chief Economist Michael Feroli said. “To borrow from soft landing analogy, having a flawed indicator panel can be as dangerous as having a obedient Partisan pilot.”

Trump did not explain the potential changes to the public for Mcentarfer. Deputy Commissioner William Wiatrowski now works as acting.
