Harvey Willgoose murder: Teenager found guilty of killing fellow pupil during lunch break

A school child who stabbed another student at lunch was found guilty of murder.
15 -year -old Harvey Willgoose was stabbed in front of the children who were horrified by another 15 -year -old child who brought a hunting knife to the All Saints Catholic High School in Sheffield on February 3.
Sheffield Crown Court heard how other students escaped from the “fear and panic ğı that they locked in a school closet after the deadly attack.

The child told the jury that his mother had mental health problems and that his father, who hit him, wasn’t usually there.
He told the court that he took the knife to school because he thought he would get hurt that day.
Harvey said that when he raised an previous dispute, he looked angry and that he had a hand in his pants, making him think that the school child was a knife.
Gül Nawaz Hussain KC said to the jury members: “Tragically, Harvey was a combination of the last straw (the defendant) and the unwanted face of a series of threats of violence and bullying in recent months.
“We say that there is a loss of control that results in terrible and tragic results.”
