DEO’s Dance With Women Teachers Sparks Row

Kurnool: A video of Samuel Paul, a regional training officer dancing with female teachers during an official training program, became viral on social media and led to controversy. The incident occurred on August 6 at Kurnool B. Thandrapadu, where KGBV teachers were educated, at the Lakshmi Srinivasa B.ed College.

On Saturday, the student unions, including PDSU, organized a protest in the Gandhi statue in Kurnool, which demanded the suspension of Deo. PDSU Regional Secretary General Mahendra called the Minister of Education Nara Loksh to take action against Deo.

Meanwhile, DEO said the dance was designed only for entertainment and that it has no other intention. Authorized, the higher levels in the training department, he said.
