4 TG Firemen Win President Medals

Haydarabad: Four personnel of the TaLangana Fire Department were honored by the President of the India by accepting their courage and devotion on the occasion of 79th Independence Day.

Among the buyers, B. Gopal Reddy, deployed at the Jammikunda Fire Station in Karimnagar, which has been serving for 33 years, is also available. While talking to Chronicle, Dajcan said that the support of family members gave him power and dedicated this award to them.

This year’s Independence Day awards include 51 medals for the 233 Gallantry medals, five presidency selected service medals and firefighters.

Fire Department General Manager Y. Nagi Redi congratulated the awards and praised the staff of the department for the services of the society.
