Teenage boy arrested after death of 13-year-old girl in Huddersfield

A 13 -year -old girl was arrested on suspicion of murder and rape, after being unconscious in Huddersfield and later died.

Western Yorkshire police, the young girl was unresponsive on Monday at 23:00 on the Sheepridge Road was called to an apartment.

The police were taken to hospital, but died in the early hours of Tuesday morning and said the young child was in custody.

According to the postmortem exam on Wednesday, the death of the girl could not be explained.

The boy was also arrested, suspected of another rape of a 16 -year -old girl from a separate incident in Kirklees, Kirklees.

DCI Stacey Atkinson of the murder and great investigation team said, “After an incident in an apartment on Sheepridge Road, we continue to conduct a series of investigations today after the death of a 13 -year -old girl.

“He could not determine how he died after a death, and we continue to expect more investigations at the moment.

“These investigations are complicated and take a long time to fully understand the conditions of the death of the girl. Specially educated civil servants are currently supporting their family.”
