Calls for tax overhaul ahead of economic roundtable; Trump and Putin ready to meet in Alaska
US President Donald Trump will appeal the expectations for the Alaska Summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin and describe the meeting as “the table identification” exercise.
The Friday meeting (Saturday Aest) will celebrate that the Russian leader is on the US territory for the first time since 2007.
In an interview Brian Kilmeade Show Fox Radyo overnight, Trump, Putin, will not be a successful meeting, “” 25 percent chance “foresees, and again as the pioneer of a potential second, more important meeting.

“The second meeting will be very important, because it will be a meeting they make an agreement. And I don’t want to use ‘Divvy’ things, but you know, to some extent,” he said.
At a White House event, Trump suggested that some allied countries could attend the second meeting and could take place in Alaska.
“We will have a meeting with President Putin, [Ukrainian] Minister [Volodymyr] Zelensky, myself. And maybe we’ll bring some European leaders, maybe not, Tr Trump said.
“All I want to do is set the table for the next meeting,” he added. “I want to see that it happened very quickly after this meeting very quickly, I want to see that this really happened, maybe it’s much easier that we stayed in Alaska because it is much easier.”
