Grieving father Danny Abdallah sits down with Samuel Davidson, five years after he killed four children by driving drunk and on drugs

The father, who lost his three children and cousins to a drunk and drug-affected driver, sat down with the man who took his life and declared that he would now allow him to get out of prison.
35 -year -old Samuel William Davidson, in February 2020 in the northwest of Sydney’in seven children in the oats, the legal alcohol boundary, drugs on drugs and out of control.
The brothers Antony (13), Angelina (12) and Sienna (8) were instantly killed with her cousin Veronicque Sakr (11).
Davidson was sentenced to 20 years in prison for a 15 -year parole.
In an unprecedented interview with 7News Spotlight, Davidson sat with Danny Abdallah, the father of Antony, Angelina and Sienna.
The grieving father entered the maximum security prison, two hours outside Sydney to face the killer of his children.
Despite the destruction of two families who lost their children, Abdallah chose to forgive.
Abdallah and his wife Leila brought the media to the forefront shortly after the deadly accident. To offer the public to be forgiven to Davidson.

However, in the episode of this evening, Abdallah went a step further – he declared that he would allow Davidson to leave prison if he could.
Davidson remained for more than ten years until he applied for a conditional evacuation, which has already served for five years.
Im If it was up to me, I will take it out tomorrow. I know the man, Abdullah Abdallah said.
“Justice, to take my children back. That’s all. If you have a day or if you have a hundred years, it won’t change how I feel.”
Davidson allowed Abdallah to release his acceptance.
“This is really an extra miles. He’s just a millionth. He’s definitely an incredible man,” he said.
But when asked if he thought he deserves to go out, Davidson said no.
Orum I don’t think I deserve it. It was an accident and I didn’t mean it, but I’m wrong and I did it, ”he said.
“I don’t believe I deserved … Even his conversation was a blessing.
The 7News Spot Light server Michael Usher entered the prison with Abdallah for Sitdown and apologized to the father who mourned Davidson and apologized and asked him that he apologized.
“There is. And I will do it again, Dav Davidson said.
“Danny, I am really sorry for you and all your friends for what I do and all your family, and I am sorry for all the emergency services that have come to that day and have to deal with what you have to deal with.
“And I’m sorry for everyone, even neighbors at the scene, everyone I affected, I’m sorry.
“And I’m so sorry. And I regret the rest of my life.”
In response to Davidson’s apology to his mourning father, Abdallah said that his children had already made peace with the murderer.
“I have already forgiven you. Thank you bro,” he replied.


Before the 7News spotlight meetings, the two men came together specially and the corrective services sat together as part of the NSW’s repairing justice program.
Abdallah said the first meeting was difficult.
7News said to Spotlight, “It was annoying. It was more difficult than I thought.”
“It was probably a moment when I saw a person who lived with the pain of killing four children and damaging a child’s brain.
“I could see that he was guilty, leaving my main hat aside, and I always say that he would give him a weapon and say, ‘I either hit those kids or hit yourself,’ he would probably ‘I will hit myself’.
“So what should I do with this? Do I continue to harm him? Am I going to hate him? What will he do? He won’t do anything.”
For more than a decade, Davidson 7news said he focused on being busy with Spotlight and keeping his cell clean.
Orum I try to keep it like this because I just think it looks better and yes, it just makes it more simple. Yes, I was like this outside, ”he said.
Davidson spends up to 17 hours a day in his cell with guards who locking prisoners until 15:30 and then releasing them until 6.30 in the morning the next day.
“Usually the doors crack in the morning,” he said.


NSW Deputy Commissioner Leon Taylor said Davidson was placed on a separate protection wing when he arrived.

In the 7News Spotlight interview, Davidson also mentioned the accidents.
Im I started drinking and I can’t remember too much, ”he said.
“The children I live with, they all came home, we all went into it, and yes, it’s quite blurry from there.”
Davidson said he expects to return to a “forever” traffic light to return green.
“I’m not even sure why we driving in the world, I know we just run the red light,” he said.
“We had no control on the car.
“(I) I got the corner so fast that even a racing car driver couldn’t pull it in a professional car, so he would never happen.”
Thinking about his past, Davidson said he was looking forward to being drunk with his friends every weekend.
“I have to enjoy life under the influence of alcohol, or something to enjoy it, because I can say that my thoughts about it are completely different now.”
