Karnataka rain: Almatti dam outflow increases

Authorities in Karnataka issued a warning to farmers and fishermen in the villages along the Krishna River after the increasing exit from the Almatti Dam on August 17th.
Considering the “heavy rainfall in the upper basin area and the Krishna River (Kallol Barrage) and the Ghataprabha River (Lolasur Bridge), it is possible to increase the flow to the Almatti Dam. Therefore, the exit from the river will increase from the current 70,000 Cusec to Cusec.
Maharashtra’dan discharged 54.241 Cusec’e reached, more than August 16 more than 10,774 Cusecin.
The water level at the Lal Bahadur Shastri reservoir in Krishna in Almatti was 120.4 TMCFT, or 97% of its capacity. The entrance was over 33,968 Cusec and the output was about 1.00,000 Cusec. The entrance of the Hippargi Dam was 43,500 Cusec and the output was 35,157 Cusec.
Raja Lakhamagouda reservoir on the Ghataprabha River in Hidkal entered 13,480 Cusec and 2,673 Cusec exit. The dam had approximately 50.2 TMCFT water according to 51 TMCFT capacity.
Renuka Sagar Dam in the Malaprabha River entered the exit of 3,281 Cusec and 1,194 Cusec. The dam had 34 TMCFT water against 37 TMCFT capacity.
